Who am I?
Frankly, I quite do not know myself, to me, myself is just a person chosen by God to live in this worldly cycle. To me, I am just what I am everyday, I live. I am a person who sins and will obey God before him. I am a thankful person, because God took Jesus's life to save me. I need to be less selfish and more giving. I am an Asian teenager that prays to Him everyday and is still learning from his mistakes. I am a teenage boy that likes girls and someone that is deeply lost in an environment not fit for him. I am a boy that is having a birthday on April 19th and has a brother that has a girlfriend in the States. I am a boy names Jeremy Huang that will be performing tonight at the Pacific American School Christmas performance. I am a boy who used to live in Cerritos, Los Angeles and had the best time of my life there. I am a boy who met a beautiful and nice girl in the United States , but could not stay together because he had to move. Jeremy is a gamer that makes money every week from his gaming commentaries and game plays. Jeremy will be having his Christmas Holiday break starting from Friday morning and on. Jeremy is now very excited for his St. Petersburg trip for MUN and a two day Moscow tour of good food and sightseeing! These words are very shallow and cannot describe the full meaning of myself. The truth is still stuck beneath the sink where my hands cannot reach, I need to find the tool of my life in order to pick that truth up and discover.

December 12,2010: 07:41 P.M
This week is probably one of the best weeks I had in a long time, probably in months! I cannot believe that Call of Duty makers Treyarch and Activision finally made bot game features where I will have an easy time playing it. Also, the story is incredible and based on true stories, which makes it more intense and real. I played the whole Sunday and Saturday night, but during Saturday, it was fun also. My dad signed a contract to buy the second "The Palace" house that will be finished when I am a junior. I saw the model of a room and it was incredible,if it was built in Taipei it will be worth BILLIONS, but since it's built in New Taipei City, it is worth only millions. I ate with my uncle from my dad's side and dinner as well, we had a fun time chatting with each other, but what got me annoyed was at the fact that they kept on talking about their health. I felt like I was trapped in a room with old fiends that care too much about their calcium intakes and vitamin C drinks. My dad obviously gave me a good time, he never got mad at me, even if I received bad grades or did something he did not like. He always told me to never stop trying hard and reach for my goals. My dad gave me a lot of freedom, which surprisingly motivates me to do work. Well, I cannot wait the look on Tony's face when I give him his Christmas present of the new Black Ops for PC. His first official game for his official "STEAM" account since 2006! What a nice weekend and the fact that next week will be an easy one that will lead me to a great start to my holiday! Goodnight!

Quick Write: Cranes
Q: Which is worse: betraying a duty or betraying a friend? Imagine a situation where you are forced to choose one. What issues would you weigh as you tried to make a decision?
A: To my personal opinion, I think that betraying a friend is much worse than a duty. Of course, the person giving you the duty must understand your feelings. If you disobey a duty, you might as well get a mild punishment or go to jail; but is that really as bad as receiving a friend’s death? If I were in that situation, without hesitation, I would say no to the duty and betray my duty. Though it may be not honorable, God will know that it is the right thing to save every life possible rather than show honor to my country. If people honestly think about it, a duty is just what a person from a bigger prestige is telling you to do. The true fact is that we are all human and he does not have the rights of controlling everything you do.

Under Stress- Sniper: Quickwrite
How do people do well at something when they're nervous or at danger or at stress? List some examples.
They remember at the fact that they need to stay focused and maybe think of it as something else. In a lot of movies, especially ones for kids, people imagine themselves in video games and then they do well in a real gunfight. These people also stay calm during these events, they focus on the people and breathe deeply, so that they won't get nervous. Seeing this story's title, I think that the main character would breathe deeply and imagine himself in a much easier situation. Their personality MUST be patient or else he might miss his targets. When they are not at work, I suppose that they rest or sometimes they may be the opposite, they may be crazy. Most of the time these people are affected by their works. For example, there was a movie named "Taken" and the main character used to be a security guard for a famous singer and now he is retired. He finds himself being over- protective of his daughter, who is now 17 and not 12 (as he remembers her). But his job kicks into use when his daughter is kidnapped in Europe and is going to be sold as a prostitute to people. This shows that these people can be very caring at times and as again said before, patient at things. These people are mostly nice and they need to be calm at all situations. Also, they need to be specific and careful at what they do, because their jobs are usually only one chance to make it; or else they'll either die or get fired, possibly get someone else killed.

Songs with Theme
Notorious B.I.G- "Juicy"
This song has a theme of "working hard will bring you a great life." It's about a rapper's life, from the ghetto and poor and becoming a rich rapper later in life. He has also learned from his mistakes from before, becoming a great man later on.
Tupac Shakur "2pac"- "Dear Mama"
"Dear Mama" is more of a love theme, it is focused on respecting your mom, but a little part of it is like "Juicy". It tells a story about, how working hard will get you the life you dreamed of. It also says that as long as respect your mom, she will be with you.

#7 on "Disguises"
The man in the story is very generous and un-selfish. Even though he knows he may have other things to do, he can see the bigger pain in the lady. The student is a very nice man to offer his time to help the needed. For example, the man may have to study for something that evening, but seeing a helpless lady asking for a way home, the man knows it is more important than his studies. Also, the man is helpful, because he also understands that the lady cannot speak English well. Honestly, for someone like me, I would've just told the lady where to go, and left. For a person like me, I sometimes would not care about someone else, even if their in big trouble; especially when I'm in a hurry. Unless the lady showed more sadness, I would never be as generous as the kind man.
Friends and Enemy Venn Diagram
Friends
- Nice
- Encourages you and agrees with you most of the time
- Shares the same jokes
- Forgives you and someone who never gets mad at you for a long time
- Someone who you will probably live with for the rest of your life
- Sometimes they end up becoming in a relationship with you and or marry you
- One may end up spending the rest of his/her life with you
- Help: friends will help each other out, when someone is down, they cheer you up
- They can also financially help you out, maybe to return a favor you did for them when you were young
- Disagreement, not necessarily mean
- Most of them are mean and rude to you
- There may be a history behind that can't simply make you two friends
- One may have hurt the other person before or both had
- Two enemies never really talk
- Hatred is also seen between
- One may have killed someone close to the other
- They both are usually living things, most of the time human
- They both can be mean, but enemies are mean a lot more of the times
- They both have at least met you before, (unless we are talking about countries)
- These both also have friends, (even animals)
- They both seem like enemies to each other, they all are nice at some points
- They both can forgive at some point, if something good is done to resolve this problem

Quickwrite- Poe's Death
How do you think Poe died? Support with what you remember from your readings..:
I think Poe died from depression and the original sickness he had. His families never really went to see him, he never had any companions, and he didn’t have money. Perhaps, the main reason he died was because he knew he wouldn’t be able to pay the bills from the hospital. According to the story, he was drunk before, this proves that he was either depressed or really happy partying. The “really happy partying” part is not possible, because he had no friends or family members around. Therefore, it only could mean that he was depressed, and possibly wanted to die. Poe also was never happy or proud with the work he has done. Therefore, he also probably became depressed at the fact that it wasn’t important and he was worthless because no one read them. I think that Poe died from depression, which caused a sickness, which cause him his death.

Difference Between TMDG movie and acutal TMDG story
The were other guests in Zaroff's house. Such as the drunk man and the lady, also when the story mentioned that he heard a MONSTER screaming, in the movie it was a man or woman screaming. Also they did not call Zaroff, "General" Zaroff like in the story, but Count Zaroff. The story also did not mention that General Zaroff had other servants, and also there weren't any Captains or friends on the ship; as shown in the movie. There was also no Whitney in the story, but rather four other people. Also, it wasn't like the story, where Rainsford fell off the ship to get his pipe, but it was rather the ship crashed. Also, it did not mention anything about sharks in the water.

Thrills
I like scary movies, because they always leave a mysterious plot and your heart pounds with it. I do not share any dislikes with scary movies, because I know it is just a movie and is not real. Therefore, I only like them, because it gives me a fun time wondering what the next thing will happen. What I think most scary movies are know, is gory and disgusting things happening. Scary movies nowadays does not necessarily have monsters or ghosts, it sometimes contains an unexpected story with gore. For, example, a horror movie that only contains humans are the SAW series. People try to scare themselves sometimes, because they think it is fun and builds a suspense in their life. Sometimes they do not even notice it, for example, for a time I thought that my room had a ghost; but that was just me, I did quite enjoy hiding myself in my bed sheet for the whole night. Sometimes, like the previous example, we scare ourselves to gain something else good.

The Necklace: Quickwrite
Since the start of 7th grade I wanted to be like the Korean kids. They are rich and always had new clothes and new hairstyles every week. They would be like the "cool" students of the school, walking around being proud, and bully some "nerds". Sometimes to join you have to be Korean, but there are exceptions, if you are "cool" enough. After months of trying to get in, I got in, I was so happy. I would hang out with them every Saturday, bully kids with them, and be in the popular crowd during lunch. After having all this fun time, I noticed that my grades has been pulled down. Through all the fun I just had, I forgot to do my homework and forgot to study for tests. I also received a lot of detentions and warnings for bullying and fighting kids in the restroom. Instead of leaving the group, I have taught them to be better though. This is the negative effect on me for joining the "cool" and "popular" group. After they got better, I still left the group to prevent myself from future effects. I later joined another group, which is a much preferable and better choice.

Interlopers Quickwrite
Since the French-Indian War, the British Parliament decided that the only way to earn more money was to tax the colonist. So the parliament passed a stamp act that started a bitter revolution from the colonists. For almost two decades, they have rebelled against any taxation and other unfair laws. Around the 1770s, the Boston Tea Party begun on a coast in Boston. Many people dumped all the tea and refused to pay for any English things. The feud between these two groups started an official Revolutionary War in 1774.
Two same but different religious groups have been having feuds since the 1500s. The Holy Catholic Church has been giving out indulgences to many people to forgive their sins. Martin Luther, a man who believed that this was all about greed wrote the 95 thesis to hope that the church will change due to it. Unexpectedly, the church chose to disregard it and excommunicated him. Martin Luther quickly gathered a group of reformers and called themselves the Protestants. This is how many new religions started, but this reforming act caused a war between the two. Though the war has ended for hundreds of years now, many people still feel that there is a major difference between the two. Many Catholics will become very angered if they were to be called "Christians" or more specifically "Protestants". So will many non- Catholic groups of the Christian world, will refused to be called the "Catholics" or go to their church. Even today, many churches will argue with each other. Hold different activities and different ways to baptize each believer, just to differentiate from each other.

Reflection on Term 01
To be more successful in Mr.Dahl's class I would have to be less talkative and pay attention more. I am really fine with everything in Mr.Dahl's class, frankly, they are all quite fun. My favorite activity was our Midterm Project for the storyboards and the video. I can't wait to see them today. I hated one student in our class and I would like Mr.Dahl to keep her from being proud too much. I would like to see more cooperation in our class, maybe a little bit more organization from the students. Mr.Dahl is fine, I like his strictness.

The Interlopers Quickwrite
A great example of a torn country from the 1770s is America and England. Both these countries had been together once and happily communicating with each other. England starting from 1770s has been especially biased to the new settlers in New England. Biased laws such as taxing on small items such as tea or wine are passed and caused riots. Soon a war started out after a few years from this Stamp Act and everything became a chaos. Then the colonists humiliated the English by defeating it's grand navy army and winning independence. It all smarted by a small stamp taxation and became a big political argument. Therefore, starting a war that caused many casualties. This proves that small conflicts can linger and soon grow into a big one.
Full Circle #6
The most successful part is when she finds out the fake license plate and spots the address of Terry Layton. The way Terry Layton died in the same spot as the girl he murdered was unbelievable. Some questions unanswered was, is there actual physical evidence prove, instead of just witnesses?
The Interlopers Story
There was once a man living on a precipitous hill, he never left his house, nor had money. Curious, the king of the city below decided to send some troops as marauders to search the man's house. Everyday, these "marauders" come to this man's house, which caused exasperation to the man. One Sunday, being a pious man, the man was praying to God; when these marauders barged into his house and kicked every one of his important possessions to the ground, breaking them. The troops ordered him to come with them to the city and see the king. He retorted, "Get out of my house! I don't want to see that king of yours" Forcibly taken to the court in front of the king, and taken into jail for denying a request, the man learned of the king's languor; the riches that the king always had around him never left him. One day, the man snuck out of jail and took all of the king's gold. The king the next day went to the man and begged for forgiveness and wishes his riches to be back. Feeling condolences for the king and wants a succor from all the stress he had. He gave back the gold and acquiesced in the court was given to the man.

Scooby Doo : The Ghost Castle
In this episode, Scooby and his friends land on a weird island with a deserted castle in the middle. They find a hotel and stay there; they then get a warning from the only owner of the hotel of a ghost in the castle. Later they go into the castle thinking that the ghost should be a prank from a man. They later found out that this ghost was a magician who uses illusions to trick people and scare them out. He scared people off because there was a treasure inside he wanted no one else to find. This magician was then sent off to jail and "Scooby Snacks" were given to Scooby for his work. This mystery movie is very exciting and I would recommend all of the people I know to watch it. Although the story may sound scary, it is actually more of a comedy. Many pranks are rather funny and the stupidity of some of the people make the movie something to crack up about. The story is good, because you learn a lot of smart and quick thinking while you watch the movie and it keeps the watcher interested.

The White Umbrella
Lilt, audible, discreet, credibility, illuminate, revelation, maneuver.
Many people may have a voice with a slight lilt, while having a very audible voice. Sometimes when these people are making a speech they make discreet coughs, but people wouldn't mind, because their words are very wise and strong. Since their words are very strong and trustworthy, many of these people rarely lose their credibility to others. As many people would say that these people "illuminate" or "light up" their lives by saying these wise things. Another figurative speech would be, that they have planted many seeds of Marigolds in the earth of society and watered them. Many of these people who hear these strong people suddenly notice their revelation, and move on with a different aspect of life. They have suddenly maneuvered their lives to a more optimistic point of view. Some of these great influential people is Martin Luther King Jr.

Marigold Quickwrite4
As we age, we face more reality, at a small age we do not know a lot of knowledge of the open world. When I was a kid, I though that the world would be like star wars when I turned ten, later science hit me and I gave up on that dream. As a person turns into an adult and goes into college, they face fear and must go off by themselves. They walk into a school of more than five or ten times their high school, perhaps without anyone they know. They therefore, must find ways to communicate and educate themselves. This is a reality that many high schoolers fail to face when they reach college. After four years of meeting new friends and education, they are faced with yet, another hardship. Jobs, this is where a person will spend almost the next forty years of their lives doing. What the hard part is that they must yet, leave their friends again and go into another strange world just after four years. Another thing is love, many people marry from the age of twenty-five to thirty. They must have a strong financial side to take this risk, because of love, they must have kids. My mom told me, when I was born she thought it was just another human being being released into the world. She later found out that she wasn't as ready as she thought and could barely keep up; especially the fact that there was two of "me". "Although", she said," Dad was here to help," and smiled. I know now that the world is VERY open, sometimes too, but it is something we all must face. More and more strangers will try to barge into our lives like zombies trying to catch humans, and we must find a way to communicate with these people.

The release of the communist prisoner Rachel was a mistake. Though she may have a barren face, her mind is very strong. In the past decade she has ruined other countries’ economy by adding other countries’ money to her frail country. The last time people saw her was when she in a presentable suit in North Korea discussing in a palace about use of nuclear weapons.

Quickwrite: Helen on Eighty Sixth Street
I have dreams and goals to go to Harvard and yet, this goal seems so far away. Therefore I still have time to change myself and know myself. I also had many goals, to be nice to my mother and father. I told them to send me to Carnegie classes so I can change myself to a better person. Through that class I have leaned a lot of things that can motivate myself and others to do more. When our wishes don’t come true, we usually look for another wish, one that faces more of reality. For example, many children wish for Santa Clause to come in during midnight and give them good presents. When they grow older and found out that Santa is not real, they go on wanting to be a basketball player or be on the NASA team. As we grow older, we know more of ourselves therefore we know what to wish. For example, may students later will know that joining the NBA and NASA is almost impossible, so they have goals to go to college or get more education. There are also ridiculous goals, such as trying to get in a relationship and other miscellaneous things. I had a dream that I will once get the president award in sixth grade, and I did. My whole family made a big deal about this. Later I found out that this is not the last thing I will have to worry about, next is something bigger; college, a big word, and a scary one. As a high school student, I now face many reality and horrors of the true education society. Goals are much harder to achieve and are very real. They are not just ones that you can choose to believe and wait for it to come by itself. You must work very hard and carefully to reach these goals, you must use yourself and test your abilities. That is what I am trying to do in high school, it may start off wrong, but eventually you will get use to it. Once you get that hard start off, you are clean the rest of the way; but of course, if you never change or adapt to new things and always keep with the old, you will become a bad student and your goals will walk further and further away from you. We must adapt and challenge ourselves.

How would you live if you were going to die at age 20?
I would waste all my money and go to the best vacation spots. I would pray to God everyday and apologize to everyone that I have hurt. Visit all my relatives and spend time with them, have some laughter given to me before I die. I know I would cry every night, because the frightening thought comes back to haunt me. Buying new clothes and eating at the best restaurants is what I would do, I would also spend some time with my parents. Tell each other stories and forgetting the fact that I will die soon. I will call all of my families to go on a vacation for 6 years and have some fun. I won't always have too much fun, sometimes I would go out and exercise, skate and play some basketball. My friends and I will go out and have some fun at Leofoo Village or just go out to Xi Men Ding to hang out. I will write down a journal everyday to let my family remember me and read my writing after I die. That is how I would live.

If I could live anywhere...
If I could live anywhere in the world, I would live in somewhere other than Taiwan, because Taiwan has weird people. Taiwan has a lot of homosexual people; a little is all right, but a lot is not acceptable. Also, Taiwan as copied a lot of things off of other countries. Shops, clothes, and the way they talk is all from other countries. I would also like to live in a country with less influence or a place that is much bigger. Maybe in the countryside in the states or Europe. I would like to live in a world where I can think freely and do many things freely without others disturbing me. Also, I would like to live somewhere that has dryer and colder weather. That is why I would live anywhere, but Taiwan.

Harrison Bergeron Quick Write
Nowadays, a lot of people don't like people who try to fit in. Clothings and style of talking is all about yourself. Many still think that to be cool you must be like the popular group. Usually the popular group hates posers (people that copy others), they rather accept people being like themselves. There is no pressure now, there is a pressure when you already copied other people. It will pressure you to go back to your original form, be yourself. I think it is better to be yourself and act on your own. There are more benefits and you will live a better life. For example, back in my old school, there was a kid called Chris, he always copied my friends' fashion. He bought the same thing and talked just like them. Chris was later pushed out and looked to us as an outlaw. The next few weeks, I explained to him that he has to be his old self. He started to change, and after a month, he was back into our group. Today, I still chat with him and he is still friends with my friends. Chris is happy that he is being himself. "I am never going to be a poser," he said proudly.

Dog Star QuickWrite
Dog Star Quick Write.
Uncorrected One:
Yes, I have been in a special relationship with a dog before. People love their pet because the pets also have feelings. For lonely people, pets are like brothers, it seems as if they are knowing what he/she is talking about. They also can play with you and make you feel loved. Pets can be something you can talk to or something you can hug. Once you have one, it is part of your life to take care of them and love them. Ever since I moved to Taiwan, my beloved dog left me to live somewhere else. I miss his soapy smell and waggy tail. His eyes tat sparkle when I feed him that say, "Thanks, Bro" or "I love you". Pets is almost like humans, once they vanish, they have taken a piece of life from you.

Crime on Mars Vocabulary
The first human replica ever made on Earth was made 3 months ago. It was made from the aboriginal English man called John Dub. At first, no one believed it but proofs of the replica's appearance made everyone thought that it was incredible. Although the replica was amazing they had to kill him in the end. He was too inquisitive and would always talk to himself. Always claimed that he is not the replica but John is. Jake, they called him, almost killed John once. His personality and mood is an enigma to a lot of people.
A Christmas Memory
Q: What were some of the scenes from the story that you thought were more powerful?
Quick Write:
When they walk way out into the woods to fly a kite that Buddy made. It showed me that friendship can last even from the smallest gifts or things. Although the best present her friend got was a sack of orange, she was thankful. Her favorite was still the kits. When I read that from the story, I looked to the friend as a hero. When I used to go to church they would tell me to think of the poor and then think of yourself. They would tell me that be thankful what you have. When at the end of the story where her friend dies, she uses an item that brings the most memory to describe her friend. This means that her friend is very important to her and she will never forget her. This is powerful because she used a kite as her friend and a fruitcake weather to describe her loss. At the end she says that instead of the hearts she sees when her friend was there, its now the kite flying to heaven. The kite represents her dead friend flying to heaven, it was touching.

Corrections for Villains.
Uncorrected One:
Darth Vader is a villain I like the most. He is evil, blood-thirsty, not merciful , and very persuasive. In the fourth episode, he killed many of his own soldiers for making the slightest mistake. He almost killed his own son and almost turned him to the "Dark Side". Darth Vader fascinates me, because he turned to the Dark Side because he had a dream that his wife was going to die. He also fascinates me because h also survived being burned in lava. Darth Vader is made up of all the villain's traits. He is terrifying, tall, strong, evil, and very ugly. Darth Vader also killed a lot of innocent tribes and relatives. This lack of mercy is what makes a villain a true villain.
